What's with women using hyphenated last names?

Seriously.

If you refuse to fully embrace your husband's name, then choose one below.

- Retain your maiden name

or

- File for a divorce or better yet, DON'T GET MARRIED

I see it disrespectful and lame for a woman to use a hyphenated name unless you're an Ayala or a Cojuangco. 99.99% of you are neither.

Choose one. Either your maiden name or your husband's name. Plain and simple.

There's a reason why it's called LAST NAME.

I agree.. if you don't like your husband's surname, just use your maiden name, as if... =P

I find that women who hyphenates their last name has the predisposition that if things does not work out, they could easily walk away from it all. As easy as droping the ex's name. It's a sad epidemic.
