Bought some stuff for the BBQ on Sunday. I'm glad my mom paid for the meats. If it wasn't for the gift certificate my boss gave me, I would've ended up with zero pesos after checking out. Now I have to live on 1,500 pesos til the next payday.

For the first time in over 6 months, I found myself again at Power Plant Mall. It's weird how I felt so out of place in a mall I used to frequent. I guess my lifestyle has changed to living a simple life. Word to Paris and Nicole.
I'm just happy I got to spend some time with a loved one.

For the past several weeks, I've been getting missed calls from the same number. By the time I called back, I got nothing but ringing sounds. Earlier I got the same call again and I finally got to talk to the person who has been trying to get in touch with me.
Me: "Hello, yes I got a call from this number a few minutes ago."
Her: "What's your name sir?"
Me: "Jojo Munsayac"
Her: "Ah yes, this is ______ from the HR department of _____ and we'd like to invite you to come over for an interview for the position of SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER."
Me: "I was hired by your company 2 years ago for a lower position and I didn't push through with it because the offer wasn't enough."
Her: "Sir, I suggest you consider this time. We seriously have a very attractive offer which you're gonna like."
Me: "Is that so? Well email me the details then I'll call you back."
* CLICK *
One call. Now my life got more complicated. Do I go for it? It's one of the biggest companies in the Philippines. The position. The pay. What I have going on for me now looks shit compared to what they have to offer. Wahhh. My coworkers love me though. Fun environment. 5 mins from home. But it looks like it's gonna take years before I go anywhere in this company that I'm currently working for. Do I go back to wearing a tie and be one of the bosses? I'm confused. Wahhh.
The question is, if you were in my shoes, would you do it?

It's been 10 years since Lauryn Hill's solo LP dropped yet I still get goosebumps whenever I listen to this track. Lauryn Hill is the greatest. There I said it. Coming from a huge Mariah and MJB fan, that should give you an idea how much I love this artist. I've been a fan since she made it known that she plays with her enemies like a game of chess.

Whenever I get sick and meds start to kick in, I always go to Wendy's and order a big classic double cheeseburger meal with chili con carne. Why? Coz I have this belief that the food actually makes me well. The baked potato has awesome healing powers too.
I've been sick for the past week or two and it usually takes me another week to fully recover. Several nights ago I went for a drive in the middle of the night hoping to score me some Wendy's food only to find out that the closest one closed down last year.
I went to Jollibee instead and settled for a Jolli hotdog
How come I only get this much fries whenever I order drive-thru? Straight robbery I tell you.
Driving while sick is no joke. It's worse than driving while drunk. I got home and I couldn't even slide the garage door open. Oh, and the food did make me feel better. Too bad it wasn't what I wanted.

My co-worker's mother passed away last week after a long battle with cancer. After work we headed south to Santuario de San Antonio. As soon as I heard about the viewing, I knew my co-worker wasn't just another regular dude. I later found out that they had a house in Forbes Park, where some of Manila's wealthiest reside.
Before heading home we made a quick stop for some late night dinner. We saw this small spot along Tomas Morato. It doesn't look much but what I had was good.
Yum. Only 70 pesos!

Notes: We didn't know if the viewing was 24/7. I wanted to call the church to check but I didn't have the number so I called Makati Shangri-la Hotel, pretended like I was checked-in and asked for the number. Ha ha. I'm so gangsta.

I can't believe I missed out on several events.
Cellphones are not allowed on the floor that's why we're forced to keep them in our lockers. From now on, I'm leaving mine in the car since I think they have signal jammers in the building.
The best time to reach me through SMS is from 1am-2pm, Tuesday-Saturday and all day all night, Sunday-Monday.

That's 180+ days.
Half a year.
Add that to the months I was in San Francisco last year.
