Am I the only one who has been receiving icky 20 peso bills? I swear wherever I go I get the ugliest bills as change.
If Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas has no plans of releasing new ones, maybe they should just stop the circulation of these grotesque bills and replace them with new coins. Knowing the Filipino people though, I'm sure they'd complain and march on the streets like what some of them did back when a coin replaced the 10 peso bill. You idiots. It's the same amount you're getting minus the hassle of getting sick from whatever bacteria is on these dirty bills.
I know it's almost Christmas and banks will flood the streets with new bills but until then, I say we should all refrain from accepting old bills.
Some of the more decent ones I got yesterday. Wash, rinse, repeat.
