SO LONG HUF

Early this year Huf closed its last Sutter St. store. It's sad how it went from 3 doors at one time to zero in 2011. (photo courtesy of HufSF blog)

I know how all good things must come to an end but fuck I never thought Huf would close shop in its own turf. Goes to show how crazy the world is. Nothing is certain anymore. With the new owners coming in Huf Hayes will be just another sneaker spot. Shit, for all we know the new owner/s will change the name to the last 3 letters of his/their name.

Erm.

To all the good peeps from Huf whom I've met, chilled with and talked to the past several years, I wish you the best in your next endeavor. I always say this - My affiliation goes beyond the brand. It's always with the people behind it.

Peace.

Yeah... Bummer! HUF to SF was like " white on rice and dots on dice". On that note, it's like LA with out Roscoe's chicken and waffles.
