When news broke out last year that Nike would release a QS version of the famed "Entourage" shoe I came up with this crazy idea to have the release in a club to go along with whole "Entourage" theme. I pitched it to Mark we Legendary and the rest they say is, well, umh, history.
It was during Titan's first year anniversary when the local release date was confirmed by someone from Nike regional (my apologies to the new cool generation of sneakerheads but we don't go by N-SB or Sneakernews when it comes to insider info). November. Then it got pushed back to January. Then April. After being in storage for months and going through a tedious process of Entourage unbranding, Nike finally gave the green light to release the shoe to the public.
I may not have pulled a rabbit out of a hat (limo parked outside Kyss to serve as the photobooth) but the whole we Legendary crew still did magical things Saturday night to bring you the ultimate NONTOURAGE experience. Nobody else in the world did anything close to this!
Shout outs to Sunny and Kyss for hosting this event. Also to Angelo F*CKING Mendez and DJ Jena for the awesome music (f*ck top 40). You two never fail to make me bust out my silly dance moves. You prolly remember them from the #NTXII anniversary party. (book them through me and I promise to get you a deal)
Last but not the least a million thanks to all those who came through to support everyone's favorite skateshop we Legendary. You guys are legends in your own right! I don't even know what to say anymore. From Kamuning to Ronac to Kyss you rad peeps never fail to amaze me.
