Around 3 pm today I got a message from @wendellvans asking where I was. He said he had something for me so I got ready with the quickness and drove through heavy traffic from Quezon City to Makati City. I kinda knew what it was but I wasn't sure until I saw this.

Aside from the gear that we received during the adidas adiZero Crazy Light 2 press conference, each player from the winning team was promised gift cheques courtesy of adidas. After a few weeks, Green Bulb came through and sent the GCs to my home address. I was in need of a new pair of adidas Originals so I wasted no time and headed to Trinoma. This is what I got.

Vans Philippines Go Skateboarding Day 2012 trumps any other skate event I have been to. 

If you were there you'd know what I'm talking about. Vans-themed ramps, California Pizza Kitchen, fully-stocked bar, live bands, Rockstar galore, tons of Vans freebies and air conditioning! I stayed for almost 10 hours and enjoyed every minute of it.

Shout outs to Wendell, Thina, Kat, Melvin, Soc, Mike and the entire Vans Philippines crew. Amazing job as always!

So last week I was invited by our good friends from adidas Philippines to participate in a basketball pick up game, which doubled as the press conference and launch of the adiZero Crazy Light 2, adidas' latest basketball footwear. Media people were treated to an afternoon of fun at the Moro Lorenzo Gym where participants and guests all got laced up with the lightest basketball shoe ever.

On the same day Matt Cain threw the greatest perfect game in MLB history for my San Francisco Giants, TeamLMS and #NT struck out and failed to bring home a pair of Yeezy 2s (Does Mong count? He has a #NT account and posted a few times). It's all good, though. I took over the bar, acted as a waiter and served alcohol until everything was gone. Good times, y'all!

The night that I matched my (ripped) sweater with the event flyer and my sneaks, OD'ed on Red Bull, received a cool fitted from JoeyTooFresh (fresh from NY, Germany and Singapore), kicked it with fun peeps, got beaten in foosball by the Cyprus twins, saw Martin (solemovement) go on YOLO mode, (hopefully) inked a deal for an indie band, gave away a size 45 shoe that I wasn't even supposed to (sorry Puma!) and enjoyed dope sets by DJs Bcal, Euric and Teaze.

Yes, a lot of alcohol was consumed, but most importantly, WE. HAD. FUN.
