Today was the biggest turnout for Sun-DAZED. Thank you all for coming! Met a lot of new faces and kicked it with the usual suspects. Hope you can make it again to the next one. Big shout outs to Mars and Aracama for letting us extend until 10:30pm. It usually dies down a little after 8pm but people stayed longer for the drinks, great music and chillout vibes. I checked out the grand opening of the new Planet Sports flagship store on 30th St. (between 9th and 11th Ave.) in Bonifacio Global City last Friday after I got an invitation from Justin. I didn't know what to expect but I was pretty impressed with what I saw. 2 floors with so many good brands and products to choose from. The event was attended by VIPs, media, celebrities and people representing different sports brands the store carries (I was surprised to see some folks from the regional office). There was a DJ, food & drinks, and a fashion show highlighted by pole dancers.

If you're in the area and you're looking for a one-stop shop for sports brands, don't hesitate to check this store out. You won't be disappointed especially if you are a female. The whole second floor is purely for women! Peep my photos from the event followed by the official press release/photos.

I wore them with acid washed jeans in the 80's, Cross Colours and baggy designer jeans in the 90's, Abercrombie & Fitch in the 00's, and the past few years with regular fit jeans (finally, but I still sag, though). I can't believe one of my all-time favorite sneakers turn 45 this year. Happy 45th Puma Suede!

For the past several months, I have been watching this series on Vice's Youtube channel entitled "FRESH OFF THE BOAT." It's by this Asian guy named Eddie Huang. Yup, the same guy who owns BaoHaus in New York's East Village. This dude is truly a character. I mean how many people do you know went to law school, did standup-comedy, slanged weed, put up his own restaurant and now hangs out with pornstars in the infamous Bangbus? And if that's not enough, he recently released a book with the same title. I'm halfway through it and together with the videos, all I can say is Eddie Huang is a genius. A wild, foul-mouthed and hilarious genius. Think of Anthony Bourdain on steriods.

If so, please get out of my way as I try to secure at least 10 pairs for myself. It's the only shoe that I can wear everyday for the rest of my life. If not, then I hate ESPN for teasing us.

I was only supposed to drop off the Gourmet Footwear pairs but I ended up staying until the event was over. I'm glad I did. I met some new cool peeps from here and overseas, vibed out to music by Mike Cons and DJ Skratchmark, quenched my thirst with a few brews and chopped it up with drama-free folks.

More than a week after it was released in the US, the Philippines will get a chance to cop the Nike BHM 2013 Collection, both Sportswear and basketball starting February 9. (I wonder if wL will get the Nike SB BHM lineup)

The miracle that happened in 2006 turned 7 earlier this week and he asked if we could go to the same place that we went to last year for his birthday. Since he and his brothers had school all week we didn't get to go until today.

I had a super fun day with you. We need to do this more often, like play basketball, video games or watch a movie. It was nice to hang out with you (reminiscing moments with you). I hope we can cherish these moments forever. I love you Dad!

I wish it was that easy, I really wish it was. For now, I'll take rare moments like these, make the most of out it, and thank God for giving me the strength to not give up.
