117 days. That's how long since my last W and yesterday's @copdate @35thnorth hit. Please tell me there is an easier way!

This is how it ends. What we had hoped for all year came earlier than expected. Don't be fucking dumb. Get vaccinated as soon as it is made available to you. You can't honestly believe that your God and right to personal freedom are enough to beat the Covid-19 virus. This ain't a movie and you are not Matt Damon. This is a world war we can all win together. #boxingday #covidchronicles
Christmas 2020 may not have been what we imagined it to be early this year but hey, at least we made it this far. I know a lot of people are in dire need of a Christmas miracle right now but you know what? You are your own Christmas miracle and you are the best gift to people you love.
Missing all the merry celebrations back in the Philippines and opening our home for Nochebuena but my heart is full from seeing your lovely social media posts. I truly appreciate you all.
Maligayang pasko sa lahat! 💓

My tropical ass doesn't really fancy freezing temperatures but the first Seattle snow just happen to fall on winter solstice and nobody saw it coming so it was a surprisingly pleasant experience even for me. Not my first snow experience but definitely my first snowfall!
I mostly drink cheap coffee pods now. It's fast and all I gotta do is toss the used cartridge out after every cup. No messy cleanups after. As much as I'd love to use a French press often, coffee gets cold here quickly and reheating it is out of the question as it affects the taste.
Our go-to brand lately is SF Bay Coffee but then this happened.
2020 has been a shitshow but that will never stop me from enjoying the holiday season even though I am far away from the motherland. Wishing you all a very merry Christmas! 💗
Got to join this year's #NTSecretSanta and it was such a funny and fun experience. I wonder who Mecks got as an elf!
I have been on the hunt for a new (not vintage) gold Starter San Francisco 49ers when I saw this on Karmaloop after doing a quick Google search. I ordered a size M but it was too small for me so I sent it back for a size L. The process took almost a month but Karmaloop/Shiek's customer service surprisingly came through right before it sold out.
When was the last time you bought something from Karmaloop? LOL.
Woke up to news today that Joe Biden has been declared president elect. I can't even tell you how relieved I was. I thought the recurring nightmare of Trump at the helm was never gonna end. I swear it felt like a non-stop marathon of The Twilight Zone!
The promise of a better tomorrow starts today.
Let's go, Joe and Kamala!
Not sure how I feel about these. During the 00's, wheat kicks were my thing and the Nike Air Force 1 B "Mocha" were my holy grails. I never consider myself as a sneaker expert but my 4 eyes tell me these ain't it.
Nike dropped the ball and whoever was responsible needs to be slapped silly. On their own the shoes are not bad at all. Just don't call them a retro version of the 2001 classic. Maybe they'll get it right next year?
For now, I'll just go with the Flax lows that Nike re-released in 2017/2018/2019. At least they don't disappoint. #NT
I feel more at home in Portland than Seattle even though I've only spent a total of 10 days here the last 3 months. Moving across the Pacific Ocean has brought some unforseen obstacles that are holding my goals (with the wifey) hostage. We might just decide to forever keep it weird and some day call Stumptown our town. Maybe open our own business selling lechon and call it "Porklandia." Please don't block me. 😊
Restoration of force, validity, or effect. This is 42. Always thankful, never resentful. Even when some folks out there act like I was never helpful. I am alive, of sound mind and loved. Can't ask for anything more for myself. Maybe Jeff Bazos money? Lol, j/k. I love you all. I can't wait until this year is over so we can all get together, grab a drink and share stories of how we survived 2020. #STACKHOUSE
Some of the coolest people I know the last 20 years I met through @niketalk_com and tonight was no different. Finally got to kick it with @jawn_price in person after finding out that he's also just recently moved to the PNW. With all the dumb shit that has been going on this year, it's always refreshing to meet a new face after being "connected" online for years. Wrestling is still real to us, damn it! #NT #TapTapPull
Pardon the awkward hands. It was windy and I was trying to pin my jacket to my body.
😅
Sending some positive vibes your way. May your weekend be full of love, peace and happiness! @unionlosangeles (I'll be od'ing on coke tbh lol jk) #NT
Can I beam up @ericaparedes and @margauxsue to Seattle so we can do Sundazed once again? I found the perfect spot!
This noodle soup joint has been our go to whenever it's cold/wet. It's in Edmonds, WA which is a short drive from Lynnwood.
Welcome to Wonton Noodle House!
They weren't kidding when they named this place "Best..." Drove past it maybe over a dozen times and finally decided to give it a try yesterday. Service was fast and the food was really good. Ordered the chicken/katsu combo which was enough for 2 people. The chicken teriyaki was tasty and the katsu was fried perfectly.
Welcome to Best Sushi & Teriyaki Lynwood, WA!
Ever since moving to Washington state, supporting local businesses have been our M.O. and today was no different. We were feenin' for some really good fried chicken so we made our way to the one and only, Seattle's best, Ezell's Famous Chicken.
Picked up this $20 Reign Man Rookie Dunk hoodie from Simply Seattle. I lowkey wanted the Sonics to beat Jordan and the Bulls in the 1996 NBA Finals. They were so fun to watch!
Now all I need is a pair of matching Reebok Kamikaze.
First time here at Katsu Burger in Lynnwood, WA. Let's see what the burger hype is all about!
Been looking for a pair of work boots and a new pair of selvedge denim jeans but stuff that's available in Manila are usually overpriced. Since I've been on a tear on Lazada lately, I checked if some overseas vendors had some for sale. A quick search showed me a brand that I have never heard before, Maden Style. It's a Chinese brand supposedly owned/run by Russians. Most of its pieces are copies of other established fashion brands (i.e. Rogue Territory, Nigel Cabourn, etc.) but for the fraction of the price.
I ordered a pair of 15 oz selvedge denim jeans and lace-up work boots. Delivery took 11 days from China to Quezon City. The total damage? Only 4,050 pesos total or around $80.
Finally letting go of my 1985s that I've had since 1998. It's about time I move on to better things than being burdened of taking care of shoes that are 35 years old. I got a feeling that these will move quicker than I expect even with the high price that I am asking for.
