I don't know why but whenever I get asked what's good in Seattle my immediate response is, "Not much, really." Why this may be true, there's A LOT of stuff to do outside the city.
Take today's post for example. A short 45 minute drive to the southeast of Seattle will take you to Snoqualmie Falls with North Bend nearby. If you think these photos look familiar, it's where Twin Peaks was filmed! (At least parts of it.)

Every year from late fall to early winter, the Woodland Park Zoo transforms into a nightly spectacle as overworked and underpaid animals are given a rest to feature Wild Lanterns. JK, lol. It's an exhibit of over 300 lanterns of the Northwest jungle and sea!
