I received an SMS message earlier from my cousin's friend whom I've known for the past 10 years. She wanted me to encash a dated bank cheque as she was looking for some quick cash. Crack money perhaps? I couldn't say no so I told her to swing by my office.
I paid 2,500 pesos for a 3,590 peso cheque.
