Republiq announced last week that Kid Cudi was going to perform Friday night for a private event. My initial reaction was wtf why even post it on facebook and twitter if the event was by invitation only? Then I scrambled for invites. I'm not a fan of him nor his music but I wanted to see if his head was really THAT big in person.

Sunday after the Pacquiao fight I got a text from Ryan asking if I want to see Kid Cudi. I said yes with no hesitation. A few days later Kid Cudi canceled. asdfghjkl;'

His replacement was announced Thursday night. Jay Sean and Dragonette. I seriously had no idea who they were but I still went. I brought along my cousin visiting from The Bay. I didn't know it was an exclusive Marlboro event until I got the invites.

I don't smoke but Marlboro sure knows how to throw a party. Free drinks all night! (not cheap ones)

Funny how they must've spent more than a million pesos for this event but had a bunch of Marlboro girls slanging their new product for 80 pesos a pack.

Shout outs to Travis, Luis (Robot), Mars, Laura, Simmone and the other familiar faces I saw.
