The biggest Vans Philippines Go Skateboarding Day is happening this Saturday!

VANS PHILIPPINES PRESENTS: GO SKATEBOARDING DAY MANILA

Every year on June 21st skateboarders around the world celebrate their love for skateboarding; showing their individual creativity and self-expression by taking the day off and going out to skate to their favorite local spots - we call this event “Go Skateboarding Day”. This is a global holiday celebrated around the world in honor of Skateboarding.

This year, Vans Philippines steps up the game by giving the skaters new ramps, new trick games, and better prizes. There will be 2 skate areas where skaters can simultaneously play while having the competition. The final round of the Vans Philippines Skate Championship will also take place on June 21 where the Philippine’s Skate Champion will be determined. Winner of the skate championship will receive an amount of Php 30,000 in cash and Php 10,000 worth of products from Vans Philippines. Skaters from all over the country are welcome to join.

This year marks the 4th year of Vans Go Skateboarding Day Manila. It will be held at World Trade Center (Hall B-C), Pasay City on June 21, 2014. There will be live performances from top local bands such as Urbandub, The Chongkeys, Buchercons, and Curbside. There will also be live beats by DJ Jena and DJ Nathan J of Wave 89.1. The event will be hosted by Lia Cruz and KC Montero.

Admission is free. Registration will be on-site starting at 8AM.
